Vlv2BinaryPkg/X64RELEASE/X64/DigitalThermalSensor.inf

Yaron Shragai
Hello,
I am trying to build the MinnowBoard Max/Turbot 0.94 UEFI on Linux, as per the directions here: https://firmware.intel.com/sites/default/files/MinnowBoard_MAX-Rel_0_94-ReleaseNotes.txt

I am getting this failure:
build.py...
: error 000E: File/directory not found in workspace
    /home/yaron/edk2-platforms/Vlv2BinaryPkg/X64RELEASE/X64/DigitalThermalSensor.inf

I don't see anything in the archives that addresses this.
Does anyone have an idea why this file is missing?

Thanks!
Yaron

Re: [MinnowBoard] Vlv2BinaryPkg/X64RELEASE/X64/DigitalThermalSensor.inf

Wei, David
If you have followed below steps in the MinnowBoard_MAX-Rel_0_94-ReleaseNotes.txt, you should see the file in folder Vlv2BinaryPkg/X64RELEASE/X64/

4) Download MinnowBoard MAX 0.94 Binary Object Modules from http://firmware.intel.com/projects/minnowboard-max.
The "MinnowBoard_MAX-0.94-Binary.Objects.zip" file contains three additional
folders required for the full source tree.

        IA32FamilyCpuPkg
        Vlv2BinaryPkg
        Vlv2MiscBinariesPkg

Thanks,
David  Wei

Re: [MinnowBoard] Vlv2BinaryPkg/X64RELEASE/X64/DigitalThermalSensor.inf

Yaron Shragai
The issue was that, for some reason, I had the 0.77 binaries instead of the 0.94 binaries.

Thanks,
Yaron

Re: [MinnowBoard] Vlv2BinaryPkg/X64RELEASE/X64/DigitalThermalSensor.inf

Richardson, Brian

The 0.94 firmware requires use of the 0.94 binary components. If you try to use the older binaries, the firmware will not build (hence the error).

Thanks … br
